Our Dermaplane Training in Belfast Northern Ireland UK or as we call it, Dermablade is an aesthetic facial. You will gain access to our online student portal once registered. Here you will be able to access our online theory module. As a result of completing these modules you should have a basic understanding of dermaplanning. You will have a quiz after your theory module with an 80% or above pass rate required.

Once you have completed your theory you can then move on to our online tutorials. After this, you can then continue on to complete your practical training in our academy. This will allow you to gain hands-on experience with one of our experienced tutors guiding you through the process. Here will learn how to effectively provide a dermaplane facial safely.  As a result, you will be able to provide a dermaplane facial for your clients with extensive knowledge to do so safely. Three client case studies are required to be submitted before a certificate is issued.

What is dermaplanning?

Dermaplane or dermablade as we call it is a procedure that exfoliates the skin (or epidermis). As a by product, it also removes the facial hair. The procedure is done by a trained technician who will gently glide a scalpel across the skin. This removes the outermost layer of skin cells and hair from the face.

Dermaplanning can help to remove scarring, acne, uneven skin tone, and age wrinkles. As hair is simply removed in the process, it will grow back at the same rate and texture as before.

What are the entry requirements for this course?

This training course is suitable for students who have a minimum level 2 in beauty therapy or have completed our basic facial training.
